I have always favored anything handcrafted. I still prefer the feel of paper when reading a book rather than a Kindle, a handwritten note rather than a printed one.  After rediscovering knitting years ago, everything made even more sense: 2 needles and a ball of yarn, that is all I needed to recenter myself and create something at the same time, anywhere I went…

I want to share this passion, with anyone who wants to learn or is just starting on their fibre journey as well as spread the love for fibre arts to all. It would be such a shame to lose all this know how to fast-fashion and fast- “everything”.

This is why Maille Laine exists. To provide an inclusive space, yarn, tools and services to support, stimulate, empower and act as a catalyst to your creativity and your projects or even spread the love for fibre.
